SATURDAY'S RUGBY ON MUDDY GROUNDS
Rain made grounds muddy for Saturday's games in the Horowhenua rugby championships. The senior competition has reached a particularly interesting stage; as a result of Shannon playing Athletic to a draw, the latter are now even with Hui Mai and they each have one more game to play before the second round honours are decided.
