After the .Victory Handicap- at Ellerslie an inquiry was held. into the running of tlie favourite, Coogee.- After hearing . evidence the judicial comrnittee was satislied that Coogee was back^d by his connections, and that Ihe' -received a bad passage. No action' wus taken.
