This morning Stone went f o Doran 's house and asked his daughter to return liome. After some diseussion, it Avas alleged, Stone drew an automatic pistol from his overeoat and shot his daughter through the head. The police were notified and a party under Superintendent H. Ccott, im mediately went to Kaiapoi. After investfgation they arrested Stone.
