Tlie Prime Minister is arriving from Wellington in the morning on his way to Whangarei and is brealting his journev. in order" to attend the conferenee. The president of tlie Auckland R.S.A. , Mr. A. P. Postlewaite, received a telephone massage from kir. Fraser this morning ■isking for the conferenee to be arranged. kir. Postlewaite said the Prime Mirtister expressed considerable concern over the matter and said he hopeci a -atisfac'tory agreement could be reaened. As a result, niembers of the asso•iaiion's executive eominittee will atlend the conferenee in full force to oresent the views of ex-servicemen on Ihe matter. Following the publication of the association 's"decision, said Mr. Postlewaite tonight, many returned servicenien had approached him dunng the day with tlie request that if direct action were to be taken, they ana their wives and families should be ailowed to mo ve into the camp ana occupy the threatened buildings. Wliolehearted support for the Auckland Returned Serviees' Association in any action it might take, was expressed by Mr. H. .T. Duggan, president or the Auckland hraneh of the Air Force Association.
