WELLINGTON, July 26. In the Ilouse today the following question was asked by Mr. M. H. ' ' Iu a note to the qnestion, Mr. Oram said there would appear to be a considerable increase in the number of burglaries, house breakings and similar offenees, while in the larger centres or population, detectives are frequentJy kept waiting about the Court to give formal evidence regarding enquiries I made by them in comparatively triviai I cases.
