HEALTH OFFCER'S REPORT
The health and sanitation 1 inspcctor (Mr. W. J. Guinan; pre;enlcd his report for the period ; ,'rom April 1 to June 30 at the .ortnightly meeting of the Shannon Borough Couneil on Tuesday wening. The report showed oue rase oi" : icarlet fever durlng the period. Six | visits were made to hal i ations. | including dwellings, hotels, boardmg houses, etc., and requisitions tcrved numbered three. Seven food telling premises were visited and one requisition served. Threp inspections of plumbing and draining have been earried out a,nd one requisition served. Four samples of milk and one sample of water were taken during the period. ; Inspections had been made of the hotels for annual license. The rubbish dump and nightsoil site had been inspected. Two septie fank systems had been approved Matters in connecticn with the rcst room had been attended to and matters in connection with the abatement of the nuisance at : the railway stock yards had jreceived attention.
