WOMEN'S DIVISION

OHAU BRANCH MEETS The Ohau branch of the W.D.F.U. held its monthly meeting in the Ohau Hall recently. The meeting was presided over by the president (Mrs. J. A. Kilsby) and opened with the singing of the W.D.FJJ. song. After the business and correspondence had been dealt with, Mrs. Taplin gave a very interesting report on the 21st birthday lunch, - held in the Wellington 'Town Hall on July 3. Mrs. Kilsby then -read , her report on the evening entertaifimeS.tf .ixi connect&n with the birthday-./party; • Mrs. Watts was guest speaker for the afternoon. The competitions were won as follows: — Best dressed doll: Mrs. Wall 1, Miss L. Catley 2. Best flower: Mrs. Kilsby 1, Miss Catley 2. Afternoon tea was then served by the hostesses Mesdames w. McLeavey, Newport, Musso and Murray.
