TE HORO WOMEN'S INSTITUTE

The monthly meeting of the Tc Horo Women's Institute was held recently when Mrs. Geange, vicepresideat, in the absence of the president, took the chair and welcomed a very fair attendance of members-. Apologies were received from several who were attending the W.D.F.U. conference in Wellington. • , Levin Institute wrote congratulating the 'drama circle on its success in gaining second place for a drama presented at the recent festival. Following the business, a roll call, "A job' I like," was held, and a competition was won by Mrs. Evans. A dainty afternoon tea was enjoyed by all. and the singing of ftie Naiional /mthem brought a very pleasam meeting to a close. The competition winners were: Best flower, Mrs. McDonald 1, Mrs. McChesney 2, Mrs. Mills 3. Miniature garden: Mrs. Mills.
