RUGBY CHAMPIONSHIPS NEARING FINALITY
I Following Saturday's games, the Horowhenua rugby championships are now nearing their conclusion and the results are becoming apparent. Athletic and Hui Mai played to a draw, and . the former, who have only suffered one defeat throughout the season will have to win their remaining two games> in the second j round to be certain of the honours. In the northern division of the junior championship Wan- - derers and Foxton are even on points, with only two and one game respectively to play to complete the competition. . In the | southern division Waimeha cannot be beaten, and will be in the hunt for the final with the northern section winncrs. College A are too far ahead on points not to win the third grade championship.
