FLYING FORTRESSES PLUNGE' INTO SEA
Received Monday, 10.15 a.m. P ANAMA CITY, July 21. Two Flying Fortresses coliided in mid-air and plunged into the sea near Coiba Island, off the southern coast of Panama. The total crew aboard the planes was twenty, but the deathroll so far has not been ascertained. The bombers were participating in an aerial sea hunt for three missing P.47's, which were caught in a storm 011 July 18.
