TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY MATINEE TUESDAY 2 P.M.
Eternal Rome, now freed by the might of Allied arms — in the flaming nights when the murderous cyrant Nero had it burned to the ground in the midst of the maddest ^vels the world has ever knowni That's the locale of the modernised orcduction of the Cecil B. DeMille spectacle "The Sign of the Cross" which opens Tuesday at the Reerent Theatre! Here is a picture which will show you why truth can never be stamped out by a tyrant — why the sign of the cross will forever be the symbol of man's final triumph over brutality and barbarism and will shine in all its brilliance centuries after men shall have forgotten the broken cross of a later tyrant. Excellent supporting programme.
