Britisli ingenuity and inventiveness for clress and"- furnishing fabrics, feature the materials prepared for the "Britain Can Make It" exhihition opening on September 24. Motliproof woollens, heavy worsteds, exquisite damasks, plain pnnted rayons, nylons, voiles and cottons provide outstanding examples oi attractive modern styles. The Parliamentary Secretary to thc Board of Trade, Mr. Belcher, said: I'Design is an important factor for i'ndustrial commodities. Quality and durability are not enough. I see no sign of national exhaustion Or industrial sterility in the streani of new designs.
