Courageous Tuis
Tuis are- very courageous birds, states Forest and Bird, jourpal of the Forest and Bird Protection Society. They have been seen to jattack cats, and even dogs, and when one of them makes an attabk he hurls himself with great speed at his foe. For a tui, att'ack is always the best defehce. When a hawk appears a call is sounded and several tuis will join in a coimbined attack, the hawk generally being routed.
