NEW PRINCIPAL APPOINTED At a meeting of the Wellington Education Board yesterday, Mr. N. A. Burns, at present first assistant master at the Wellington Technical College, was appointed principal of Horowhenua College. Subsequently, the duties were carried out in an acting capacity by Mr. H. A. Heron, who left at the end of last year to take over the principalship of Rongotai Boys' College, while since then the first assistant, Mr. A. Haley, has discharged them.
