New Zealand 'a niatcli with the United States is scheduled to be played at Pliiladelphiu oji .Julv -0. However, the New Zealand Association .previously decided it would huve to ®witlidraw its entry unless the tie against the winners of Ihe North American zone could be play cd iji New Zealand or Australia. The I'hiropean iinalists aro Yngoslavia and Kweden. The latter eountry lias intimated that in the event of its winning, it would be prepared to play the interzone Jinal iu the United StatOs. The Yugoslavs, however, have not so fur iiulicated tliey are agreealile to playing the interzone iinal in Anierica. In the event of the venue being disputed it would be played in the eountry of the Davis Cup holders, Australia, thus paving the way for New Zealand to proeeed with its entry.
