SYDNEY, July 15. -Dainage estimated at £40,000 was " caused in Sydney today by one of tlie most spoctacular fires for some years. It gutted a building in Petersham occupied as a branch depot by tlie New Boufli Wales Egg Board. For nearly an liour tlie whole block of shops and liouses was threatened by the flamea which rose to a height pf 60 feet.
