There was only one candidate when National Party nominations for the Manawatu electorate closed on Friclay night. The eandidate will be the sitting member, M5- M, h. Oram, m.p. Mr. Oram's nonudation was supported by ail brancjres of the party organisation in tlie Manav/atu electorate.
