"Thompson, took the opportunity" of expressing to Mr. Hoidstoek 'the club's best wishes for success ih his new sphere, and thanking him for his work for the club during the period he had been a member of the committee. Mr. Hoidstoek suitably replied, after which dancihg was resumed.
