Received Thursday 7 p.m. LONDON, July 10. Jaekie Paterson retained the world flyweight championship, gaining a ppints decision over Joe Gurran, at the end of .a fif teen rounds .bout at Glasgow. Fifty thousand watched the world title fight at Hamlden Park. The result was never' in doubt. Paterson was on top fi'orn the start and scored freely throughout with both hands. Curra'n was downed three times, once for nine in the 13th round. Ile did 'not win oue round.
