MISSIONARIES MURDERED
Received Friday, 11.30 a.m. LONDON, July 11. Several Catholic missionaries were murdered in Indo-China and churches were burnt, reports the Vatican radio, which adds that one bishop had to fl.ee to Hanoi. Members of the Viet Minh killed three Annamite priests in Cochin China and two other priests. Reuter's Paris correspondent quotes a report from Saigon, saying that eighteen members of the French Foreign Legion were am- , bushed and killed near Cuchi, j north-west of Saigon. Seven of the ' attackers were killed.
