Received Friday, 11.45 a.m. JERUSALEM, July 11. Military searclies of Jewish settlements have ceased and the troops i e been withdrawn to their ikjrmal locations, said the High Commissioner to Palestine, Lieut.General Sir Alan Cunninghame. He added: "I hope there is no further need for widespread military action, but if any further outbreaks of violence occur they will be dealt with with the utmost vigour." LieuL-General Cunninghame has ordered the release of thirty-nine Arab's serving sentences ranging from five years to life, and also six Jews serving from five to ten years.
