Received Wednesdav, 7 p.m. LOXDOX, July 10. About one-tliird of 3000 men wore lounge suits at the English Society 's "free and easy" Royal Garden partv at Buckingliam 'Palace. Some men smoked pipes — a siglit not before seen at tliese functions, savs the Daily Arai! Grey toppers, lavender waistcoats, glQves and neatly furled silk umbrellas wepe therp too but bowlers were numerous enough to produce a viearage f'ete atmosphere. General Iv the informality was confined to the men.
