PASTRY NOVELTY KENTISH PUFFBALLS These are easy to make and quite delicious. ingredients required: 6 oz. Fether-Flake Puff Pastry. (You buy it ready niixed. JUST R'OLL AND BAKE) . -h cup sultanas minced. 1 tablespoon sugar. 2 tablespoons jam — Cranberry and Rhubarb for choice. Mix - these together. Add a tiny pinch of spice. Roll out tbe Fether-Flake pastry fairiy thin. Cut in rounds with a mason jar lid. Wet edges of pastry with water. Place dabs of sultana mixture in the centre of each round. Gather up the edges and pinch well together completely covering the sultana* mixture. Dip each puff into water, theil ihto sugar. Place on a cold scone tray, joined side underneath and sugar side uppermost. Prick the top of each puff about six times with a fork. Bake ih a faitly qhiek ov'en. Time about 20 minutes. Fether-Flake is freshly made by Adams Bruce ohly and sold straight from the fefrigerator. Allow Fether-Flake to stand awhile before using.
