Personal Mr. Peter Elliott, who has been in the Palmerston North Hospital for the past five weeks, is home; again, feeling the benefit of tlie treatment. Billy, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Deller, who has been under two operations in the Palmerston North Hospital, is reported to be making good progress. The death occurred yesterday of Mr. Parae Rikihana, after a spell of indifferent health. The deceased was well-known, having resided in Otaki for many years. He was 45 years old and leaves a family of six, chree sons and three daughters. Whitebait Catches So far the whitebait season has not been outstanding f-or catches oi any dimensions. In th'e Manawatu River some good "runs" have been reported.
