TO BREED SHEEP FOR LAMB'S FUR
■» Received Wednesday, 1 a.m. SYDNEY, July 9. Three South Australian businessmen representing a syndicate, propose to lireed sheep in Australia to provide what is knoAvn as Persian lamb's fur. The fur comes from baby lambs of the Karakul breed and can be made into high quality fur coats or Persian and Turkish carpets. Jt is intended to import stud stock from • South Africa, Persia and Ffance where the industry is well established. The three businessmen interviewed the Minister of Xnterior, Mr. Johnson, today to discuss the purchase of a large area of suitable land in Northern Territory.
