BIMSBANE, July 7. Despite transport restrictions and no trams to take people home, a record crowd of (35,000 attended the second , England v. Australia League test at Brisbane Showgrounds on Saturday to ■8ee England win 14 — 5. . The gates were closed at 11.30 a.m. and thousands were refused admission.. Every vantage point was taken. Women fainted in the crush and a heavily reinforeed police force had groat diflieulty in controliing the ciowd. The start of tlie game was held up a few minutes while ' the police moved the crowd back from the side liaes. . ....
