fall from karapiro dam

CAMBRIDGE, JUiy 8. Victor Looker, aged 49, married, with a family of nine, a farmer of ,he Kairangi settlement who workid in the winter months at the karapiro hydrO-electric works, was cilled ipstantly this morning when 'ie fell from the top dam down on o the cooling slots, a 100 foot drop. Workmen stated that they saw /joker stumble and then f all. ooker was attending the lights oii •he dam at the time. An inquest ■ ;ill be held.
