Evard Kardelj, on his return from Paris, i said Yugoslavia was unable to accept the decisions of the Foreign Ministers in Paris to internationalise Trieste/and the surrounding area because they, like the Treaty of Versailles, divided the Slovene and Croafian peoples betv/een various states, and inflicted a heavy blow to the national rights of the i ! Yugoslav peoples. Yugoslavia j would renew its demands at the j peaee conference and protest J against the Paris decisions. |
