W JiiljLilJN Vjr 1 UJN , JUty ». From March to June this year 2,298,000 rabbits or 1915 tons of rabbit meat have been shipped from New Zealand to Britain, said the Minister of Marketing, Mr. B. Roberts, to-day, indicating the extent to which frozen rabbit carcases are being exported from the Dominion to help supplement British meat supplies. The minister added that shipping space for another 1,045,200 rabbit carcases had been allocated for this month.
