SAVOURY CRESCENTS ANOTHER GOOD RECIPE FROM MISS UNA CARTER The following ingredients are necessary: 4 oz. Fether-Flake Pulf Pastry. (You buy it ready mixed then JUST ROLL AND BAKE) . About li oz. tasty cheese grated. Small i-teaspoon curry powder. Salt, pepper and Cayenne if possible. Rolled oats. Beaten" egg. Mix cheese, curry powder and seasoning well together. Roll Fether-Flake out thin, sprinkle with cheese, fold in four. Roll out, using rolled oats on the board instead of fiour. Fold in three and roll out again, quite thin. Brush top over with beaten. egg. Sprinkle on just a little extra salt. Cut into crescents. Bake on cold trays in a fairly quick oven till pale golden brown and crisp throughout. Fether-Flake is freshly made by Adams Bruce ohly and sold straignt from the refrigerator. Allow Fether-Flake to stand a while before using. . Obtaipable from the Adanfs..
