Sutherland (Hauraki) gave notice to ask for an assuranee that the butter ration in New Zealand would not be increased while the people in Britain were suffering from a lack of fats and the people of Xew Zealand were volun tarilv surrendering butter coupons to help the Motherland. Xlr.-Siitherland, "111 his question, referred to the resolutioxi passed by tlie executive of the Auckland XVatcvside | XYorkers' Union -asking for an increase in the Dominion 's butter ration in view of the shipments to the United States.
