MAYOR EXTENDS iNVITATtON | ^An iilvitation to visit Leviii ] was recently extended to His j Exeellency the Governor-Geh- j eral, Lieut.-General Sir Rernard Freyberg, by His Worship the j Mayor (Mr. H. B. Burdfeltin). The Mayor has now received the following acknowledgment from His Exeellency: "I desire to thank you sincerely for your letter of 20th June and for the kind invitation to me to visit the people of Levin and the adjoining district. This I shall he glad to do as sopn as circumstances will permit, and I shall look f orward with pleasure to meeting you once agaih."
