I make this comment because I understand America will make equivalent fats available to United Kingdom. I can see nothing wrouo' in America using lier own equivalent of fats. told the food position there was still deteriorating, The new proposal mpst be distressing to tlie people in New Zealand who desired to see their kinfolk in Britain better supplied with food. He understood there was adequate ship'ying to take to United Kingdom all the food New Zealand eould supply. The matter was not an abstract oue but afPeeted personaily all the peoplfyln the Dominion.
