Received Wednesday, 7.0 p.m. BRISBANE, July 3. Queensland is suffering from one of tlie most disastrous drougtits iu history. In more than half the State only hand-feeding is keeping the stock alive. Butter production has fallen to 70 per cent of the normal output and the State peanut crop is 50 per cent below average. M rain does not fall soon the wheat position will he critical. The period is the second driest in Queensland history sinee 1862 when 56 consecutive rainless days were recorded. Until light rain fell on Friday, Queensland this time had registered 51 rainless days.
