They also visited butter factories and saw Ihe Alpha Lavai niethod of niaking butter without a cliuni. The machine works on tlie separation principle. Tliev also learneu of the " Fritz" machine which employs beaters revolving at 200(1 revolutioiis jier m i aute. It is umlerstood that tlie Xew Zealand tiovernment has orderect botli machines. Tlie Alpha Lavai machine was shipped to Ainerica last October and it is reported that it has already been improved upon. The partv left on June 30 for TI oi land as guests of the Duteh Govevpment.
