Twenty of tlie 24 towns secured the weekly quota, the lisl being Apiti, Ashhurst, Bulls, Dannevirke, Feilding, Glen Oroua, Halcombe, Kimbolton, Levin, Ohau, Pahiatua, Palmerston North, Pongaroa, Rangiwahia, Rongotea, Sanson, Shannon, Weber, Weraroa nnd Woodville.
