BOXING NOTES
LEVIN CLUB'S GOOD START (By "Spectator") The Levin Amateur Boxing Club has made quite a successful comeback and the attendance is very encouraging and should improve as the club progresses. It has organised physical culture and gymnas- • tic classes in conjunction with the boxing training, and this is proving popular. The material is there for some good amateur boxers given some of the finer points. Return Bout Reported A report from England states ; that a return match between- Bruce Woodcock and Tami Maurielle is: anticipated and will probably be fought this year. Although Wood- ; cock was defeated by Maurielle, his : showing was most promising and . the only thing he lacked was j experience. He is given an excellent : chance of turning the tables on ; Maurielle. i ; ■ * - ' :
