Tlie premises eoneerned are tlie men's oiitfltters sliop of Hallenstein Ilros., and the saruple rooms and store of Kargood, S021 and Tiwen, whieh are situated at the rear of Hallenstein. 's. After forcing the lock of the saniple rooms the intruders made away with a quantjtv of. toys Juibgnlaijhei;y well as a coupfe of suitcases. Although the intruders gainod entry to the storeroom of the sliop and daniaged the door leading into the sliop itself, the lock was not forced. It will be recalled that last xveekend six business premises and a niedical xtirgerv were entered in Hastings and Xapieix It is understood since then the po'liee have apprehended at least two juveniles who are lielieved to be responsible for entry into a newlv opened sliop in Heretaunga Street and sfealing a quantity of stamps and cigarettes.
