GCDD PRICES MAINTAINED MCssrs. Townsend and Paul, Ltd., 'fruit, and produce merchants, Wellington, report that with smalier uantiiles of all varieties of fruits quaiitities of all varieties of fruits wcek's quotations. Tree tomatoes, Chinese gooseberries, hot house tomatoes and passion fruit have' all been sought. Flower auctions ' have also been in good attendance, consignments of all varieties being suggested. Most varieties of vegetables continue to sell readily, cauliflowers, Brussel sprouts, rhubarb and celery all being placed to advantage. .Triumble and squash pumpkins have 'also met with a ready sale, whilst rriarrows. and kumeras have been in • demand. As is seasonal, smalier yardings of poultry have come to hand, prime birds agaln command1 ing keen attention.
