BIG RUSH ON FLOUR
Received Friday, 11.46 p.m. LONDON, June 28. . Thousands of London's housewives joined in a great ftour rush. It is estimated nearly one million pounds of flour, mostly in three pound bags, were sold over suburban counters before 10 o'clock this morning. Most shops limited saies to six pounds for each customer but many women visited several shops and laid in stores of 15 pound^ or more despite warnings tliat tlie flonr will noc keep Indqfinitely.
