Only two meetings xvill be held to-morrow to attract the attention of foliowers of the gallopers, the concluding. day, of the Hawke's Bay J.C., at Hastings, and the Waikato R.C.'s winter. hack meeting at Te Rapa. Particularly good fxelds have accepted for both fixtures. At Waikato, however, there are a number of horses with a dual engagement. Latest weather reports from both centres indicate vhat conditions will be dull but fine and that track conditions will be in good winter order. For foliowers of light harness there will be the Metropolitan Trotting Club's meeting at Addington. ■ Wiri and place betting will operate at the three meetings. Prospects are: —
