progkess in levin Motor re-registration is well Under way. in Levin now; but with cnly a week to go, there still remains a great deal o'f work fof the post office staff who attend to this section. The number of vehicles so far registered'is 700 cars and 180 trucks. However, with over 1000 cars alone to be handled, the post cffiee can expect a busy week. . The . issue of drivers' licenses to date shows that there are probahly quite a number of motorists who are cqntent to leave things to the last minute. The Levin Bo.rough Council has now issued 468 licenses of all descriptiqns, while it is estimated that about 600 or. 700 at least have yet to be attended to. The Horowhenua Couhty Council has issued 1052, and expects to deal with about 1800 in all.
