HOSPITAL AND CHARITABLE AID RATE Pursuant to the provisions of Section- 1 52 of "Tne Hospitals and Ch'aritable Institutions Act, 1926," a rate o'f seven sixteenths of o-ne penny (7/16d) in the pound upon the Capital Value of all the rateable property • in the - County oi Horowhenua, such rate being required to meet the contribution payctbie by the . Council to the Palmerston North Hospital Board. SEPARATE RATES ' Pursuant to the provisions of Section 45 of "Tne Water Supply j Act, 1908," and Section 122 of "The ! Counties' Act, 1920": — (a) A Separate rate of thirty-nine sixty -fourths of one penny (89/t>4d) in the pound upon the rateable property in the HOROWHENUA WATER RACE DISTRICT (b) A Separate rate of thirteeh thirty-seconds of one penny (13/32d) in the pound upon the rateable property in the KUKU WATER RACE DISTRICT. (c) A Separate rate' of one and one-eighth pence (li-d) in the pound upon the rateable property in the WAIKAWA WATER RACE DISTRICT. (d) A Separate rate of fifty-seven sixty-fourths of one penny (57/64d) in the pound upon the rateable property in the HAUTERE WATER RACE DISTRICT.
(e) A Separate rate of eleven thirty-seconds of one penny (ll/32d) in the pound upon the rateable property in the OHAUMUHUNOA WEST WATER SUPPLY DISTRICT. " WAIMEHA TOWNSHIP WATER SUPPLY MAINTENANCE ' A uniform Water Rate (under the provisions of Section 82 of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1933," and amendments, also Order-in-Council dated 17th December, 1929) on all lands and buildings in the Waimeha Township Water Supply Special Rating District, as f ollov/s : I (a) All lands and buildings used as dwelling houses to which water is supplied where' the rateable annual value does not exceed • '£'12/10/- a rate of ten shillings. (b) All lands and buildings used as dwelling houses to which water is suppiied where the rateable ' annual value exceeds £12/10/a rate of six per centum (6%) on such value. Provided that if such rate produces less than ten shillings, in respect to any such land or dwelling house, a rate of ten shillings. . (c) All land,s and buildings (other than dwelling houses) to which water isV;supplied and all lands and- buildings to which water can be but is not supplied, situate within one "hunared yards of any part of the waterworks, one iraii of .the respectiVe water rates mentioned above. PAHIKO DRAINAGE RATE A Drainage Rate under Subsection 2 of Section 167 of "The Counties' Act, 1920," of fwenty-flve thirty-seconds of one » penny (25/32d) in the pound on the rateable capital value of all lands classi-" fied as "A" and nineteen sixtyfourths of one penny (19/64d) in the pound on the rateable capital value of all lands cfassified -as "B" for the purposes of maintaining drains in the Pahiko Drainage District. MANAWATU CATCHMENT BOARD Administrative rate pursuant to the provisions of Sectkms 84 and 85 of "The Soil - 'Conserva'tion and Rivers Control Act, 1941," of onefourteenth of a penny (l/14d) In the pound on the capital value of all the rateable property in the Councy ^f Horowhenua.
