Received Tuesday, 12.20 p.m. LONDON, June 24. The Foreign Ministers failed to reach agreement on any v of the main points discussed during a formal session this afternoon, says Reuter's Paris correspondent. The points were the Franco-Italian frontier, the limitatiop of the Italian Navy and freedora of navigation on tjie Daaube, The Ministers agreed to Mt- Bevin's proposal that the personal injuries clause should be withdrawn from'the Rumanian Treaty. They referred to the deputies another British proposal that an arbitration tribunal should be established to settle disputes in the carry ing out of the Rumaipan Treaty. ' The Ministers decided that the strip of territory in the Adige region, on the Italo-Austrian frontier, claimed by Austria, should remain Italian. They agreed to instruct the deputies to investigate whether Austria and Italy could reach a mutually advantageous arrangement in regard to the use of the railways in this area, failing which guarantees to Austria con- ' cerning the use of sections of the Innsbruck-Linz railway should be written into the Italian Treaty. M. Molotov, before the formal session, had a private talk with Mr. Byrnes and later Mr. Bevin and Mr. Byrnes dined together. M. Molotov to-day had what was described as a cordial talk with the Hungarian Prime Minister, M. Nagy, about Hungarian border questions. M. Nagy, who hopes later to put the case before the assembled Ministers, told the Press that he would ask the Ministers to reeonsider last month's decisiomthat Transylvania should belong to Rumania. He said he favoured freedom of commerce between Hungary and all Alliecl n.ations on equal terms.
