A successful unreserved clearin* ■ale was conductea by the Nev f.ealand Loan and Mercantif. Igency Co., Ltd., on behalf of Mr G. Rix, of Ara paepae Road. Levin Twenty-six high grade dairy cows, mostly July-August calvers, were .ubmitted to a good bench of myers and they returned an averge price of £13 5s. Quotations were: July-August alving cows. £11, £12 10s. £15 10' ;o £18; hsifers. in calf, £12 to £14. Tersey bull, £17. Sundries - sold eadily at full late rates.
