WOOL TOPS RELEASED FOR EXPORT
Reccived Thursday, 11.55 p.m. LONDON, June 20. Wool Gonlrol is making available for export th rough commercial channels, certain cjuantitios of tops from (Jontrol stocks, says the Yorksliire Post^s Bradford correspondent. This is one of the few occasions since the outbreak of war, that the export of tops has been permitted. The total quantity 'is not stated but more tlian 80 per cent. of Ihe total will be, Dominion crossbred tvpes, 44/50 qualities, and also a small proportion of Australian dry-combed Merino tops and jDominion crossbreds finer than fifties. The authorities are apparently releasing for expoyit principally tvpes' of whicli large stocks have accumulated > for war production of which existing •supplies ex'ceed current needs for the civilian trade. ;
