Year's Operations in Review In comprehensive review of the year's operations the following information was given: — Maintenance sealing eompleted, 40 miles 5 chains, comparecl with 38 miles 60 chains last year; bridges, lineal feet, 165ft, against 677ft.; surveys eompleted 4 miles 40 chains, eompared with 5 miles 60 chains. 3 The bridging comprised the comple tion of the Orona River bridge in concrete, 165ft long on tlie LongburnTaugimoana main highway (Manawatu Countv") . Maintenance sealing_in the district amounted to 40 miles 5 chains.' ^The chairman remarkqd that the enginecrs (Messrs. A. R. Acheson and 11. J.
