SEVERE FLOODS IN PERSIA
Received Thursday, 12.20 a.m. TEHERAN, .June 19. The Euphrates and Tigris Rivers overflowed their hanks and floodedthousands of acres of agricultural land including Basra. More than .40 persons were drowned while thousands were made Homeless. The situation is reported to he critical with an epidemic of typhus threatening.
