SHANNON SALE
Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report a good yarding in sheep and a full yarding in cattle at their Shannon sale yesterday. Bidding was keen in the early stages of the sale, but quietened down as buyers needs were met. The following prices were realised ; — Sheep: Fat lambs, 23s to 24s 3d- fat ewes, 22s 6d to 24s 3d; hoggets, 26s 3d. Cattle: Good quality weaner heifers, £3 10s to £4 5s; good quality springing heifers, £8 15s, £9 10s, £10 5s, £11 17s 6d, £12 15s; fat cows (ex-dairy), £5 10s, £6 12s 6d, £7 15s, £7 17s 6d, £8 17s 6d; potter cows, £2 10s, £3 10s, £4 15s, £5 5s. ■
