' Opehly challenging the oilicial asserfcion that Ananda Mahidol tlied in a ' revolver accident, the Siamese weekiy Thiengthem has printed .a hanner head line: "We suspect our King was assassinated." The paper asserted that the 1 evidence indicated that King Ananda had "been shot from hehind and that the position of the revolver seemed to preclude suieide or accident. Unrest is spreading throughout Siam with the growing rumours that King Ananda was the vctim of a paiace murder.
